Essential storage supports accounts and reliable game rounds. Google Analytics cookies are optional and stay off until you allow them.
vac_session — essential session cookie
The first-party vac_session cookie is HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Strict. It identifies a random server-side session and expires after seven days. It supports sign-in and request protection without containing your password or email.
vac:notice — essential local preference
This first-party local-storage record remembers that you dismissed the essential-storage notice, with a timestamp. It is checked for expiry after 180 days. You can review or clear it in Cookie Preferences.
vac:round — temporary round recovery
Session storage keeps the request identifier and selected play level for an interrupted round. It contains no password, outcome seed or email. It is removed after a successful presentation, on sign-out, or when the browser tab session ends.
Changing your choices
Use Cookie Preferences, linked in the footer, to allow or decline analytics cookies and withdraw consent. Declining cookies does not stop limited public-page measurements without cookies. Blocking essential cookies prevents protected account functions.
Google Analytics cookies
After consent, _ga and _ga_* identify a browser for public-page measurement, with an expiry of up to 180 days that can be refreshed by later visits. Withdrawing consent removes these analytics cookies. Before consent or when declined, Google receives limited measurements without those cookies. No advertising cookies are used.
